TLDR, I found the country incredibly isolating. In the city, I’ve found a community.

Close-knit neighbors! I’m from a pop. 5,000 town where I never knew my neighbor’s names. In my city, I know my neighbors, their pets, and their kids. We cooperate w/ each other because we live in close proximity & we’re transplants (no family nearby). We help each other out without question.
