Weird. I've just been blocked for asking a question of a Canadian about their taxes to compare with US taxes. I probably should not have responded, but I did get an answer from another person that was helpful. It's too bad because I always read her posts.

An article in the Oregonian explained that the protests at the ICE facility was drawing more and more "streamers." In fact the streamers are streaming the streamers. Their followers love conflict. Video evidence is necessary, but a few are making money off your presence.

In Washington County, Oregon, we passed the library levy and the public safety levy. Why? We need both. Libraries and their programs support their communities in more ways including providing an alternative to doing nothing.

So it's Medicare open enrollment again. This morning at 6:45, I got a call from someone asking about my Medicare Plan. Definitely didn't change their clocks, but 7:45 would not have been good either. And on a Sunday.

I am irritated by some of the posts here that belittle and shame those who happened to be registered as a Democrat. I know you are unhappy about our politicians, but damn it, as soon as we fight among ourselves our mission is lost.

I've been out of town and away from the war-ravaged Portland area all weekend. In my travels, people did not care or simply did not know how ravaged we were. Oh, there were a couple that had stayed informed. They were very supportive of the truth. Guess where I was.
