Because he's dumber. He's clueless about everything. He did not challenge her at all.

What did he do?

Deadlock had an average of 1k players for months until they were essentially pressured into allowing the game to be shown publicly. They even put together a store page that breaks their own rules. It’s clear they would have been more than happy to keep chipping away at it with their 1k testers

I think it's important to note that Deadlock wasn't announced, is invite-only, has temporary art & mechanics everywhere and no progression of any kind. And Marvel Rivals is a finished game that had a ton of marketing.

On top of that they're reusing old systems from HL2, HLA and previous HL3 iterations. Probably a good amount of assets from HLA too. If they don't at least announce it next year it's safe to assume it's cancelled.

Why would they be insecure about their work. Not naming it HL3 sets them up for failure. Especially since it's effectively Half-Life 3. This name carries all the hype of the franchise at this point.

I always thought that was intentional lol, that they were crunching and didn't have the time or resources to properly do that scene. Didn't know this was a bug.

Contact Steam Support. They're pretty lenient about this kinda stuff and may send you a replacement
