I mean, you sure you want to go the Old Yeller route? Maybe a cool, refreshing Hemlock Monster? The sweet, subtle tones of Coke Foxglove?

Lots more possibility of truly sarcastic last words rather than, "Ow! Ow! How do you screw this up?!"

1.) The theater CG's assessment was based on not only his assessment, but that of every Coalition intelligence service.

2.) This includes organizations that had actually fired hostile systems against the systems under his command and vice versa.

3.) No one changes a theater plan on a BN battle.

No, no it really wasn't. We got an AC-130 splashed, friendly fired our own side, and had a bunch of "fog of war."

But please, do keep living in the fantasy land where a theater CG who has already written the OPORD and shifted an entire corps west changes his multi-corps plan on this one battle.

Barely evicting a bunch of Iraqi infantry with the tepid support of T-54/55 and -62 would not convince most people they had a truly massive advantage. Certainly not in 1991.

Khafji was also nowhere near as one-sided as the fights out west would turn out to be.

Well your first problem is this would require near omniscience as there was zero evidence of it at the time.

But beyond that, if he'd completely eliminated the Revolutionary Guard in 72 hours that probably would have caused some serious knock on effects (think regime change).

Ugh. Hope you get better soon.

And if that’s all she’s got between here and November? In Maine? It won’t be close.

Maine folks are some of the most surly, independent people I’ve ever met. I imagine they’re very annoyed at some things and tired of “concerned.”

I cackled out loud at that one.

It happens. I own my part of it also, as I was pretty broad because I try to avoid boxing people in...but also wanted something very specific. :)

My officemate is a die hard Steelers fan. He's of the opinion that if Tomlin doesn't win a playoff game this year that should be it.

I blame both him and the front office.

Oh Anita will do it 100%, it's just I had hired someone we know to do the whole job. The less said about how that went the better.

I will also say most indie clients do not know better to ask for two separate prices. I am forever telling fellow indie authors “Make sure you specify _in writing_ if you intend to use it for anything other than a single purpose.” Seen folks get roasted on that front.

However, I have literally in house graphic design support (wife is an artist) so I’ll accept some stuff that needs touch up. (See logo that is my profile pic that was the “bare bones” Anita fixed up).

I think the problem with most art is finding your clientele. Social media used to be great for that until everyone wanted to monetize.

I paid $400 for 3 relatively bare bones logos. I think that was a reasonable compromise between “gotta live” and “affordability.” 1/2

Eek! Glad you’re on the mend!

Oh come on Jane, the world is wide enough for both Hamilton and…*pause* Hmm, maybe not taunt a woman with lethal in her name.

So the photo was talking forever to load…but I already knew who it was from your Saturday morning cartoons comments.

This is not a wrong answer though…
November 16, 2025 at 1:13 AM
I too wonder about that. Like can we all agree some people never need to breathe free air again, even if we can’t agree the answer is “long drop or short”?
November 15, 2025 at 7:38 PM
Agreed. One of the all time greats.
