Current read is Blackout by Connie Willis, 3rd in the Oxford time travel series. This series is very enjoyable and… comforting? Relaxing? Anyway, I’m losing myself in them and that’s a good thing.

I’m about 100 pages into Babel by R.F.Kuang and I’m having some trouble getting into it. I don’t read much fantasy. I’ve heard really good things about it and I’m wondering if it’s my unfamiliarity with the genre. Should I stick with it? #booksky

They wouldn’t take me to a bookstore after my outpatient surgery, so now I’m home browsing thriftbooks online and apparently making questionable posts, too. Ha. Take that, post-op instructions. Really, somebody should probably take my phone until the meds wear off. #booksky #cerebralpalsy

Had arm surgery today for #cerebralpalsy. Hoping I’d wake up from it in an alternate universe. Nope. Damn it. And now they’re taking me home instead of to a bookstore per my request. Damn it.

Started Record of a Spaceborn Few by Becky Chambers, the third in the Wayfarer series. The first two books were really good, so I have high hopes for this one. Also especially liked Chambers’ Psalm for the Wild-Built. #booksky
