Commissioner Killeen is inquiring what is left of Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network (of Detroit) with the implementation of this new independent legal entity.
This entity would be effective for as long as it is providing PIHP services or the agreement is terminated.
Item #4: the Commission is being requested for approval to create an independent legal entity called the "Michigan Health Collaboration Network." This would provide Prepaid Inpatient Health Plan (PIHP) services for regions awarded by the State of Michigan for the PIHP system.
