I somehow managed to buy a PS5 bundle shortly after launch. My dad was dying, and I was in the middle of the worst cold of my life (neither COVID related). I desperately needed a distraction, so I pulled the trigger on a PS5, headset, controller, and Spider-man bundle. Altogether it was around $700.

Astrobot! I haven't had a 3D platformer bring me this much consistent joy since I was a kid playing Spyro on my PS1. It was a welcome distraction from this nightmare of a year.
Special mention to Metaphor: a game I did not expect to be as engaging as it was. 2024 was a great year for Atlus fans.
