Being from Ohio & originally from Reds country, I grew up with the stories of Pete Rose & how baseball was unfair to him.
I never agreed w/ those sentiments myself, but we knew he'd be let in after he died. Well I just read that Rob Manfred is considering reinstatement.
I do wish he could see it.

I think the lesson from the Paul v Tyson fight is pretty simple.
No matter if we can see it coming from a mile away, Americans will always line up for a con, so long as the spectacle is big enough. Athletics, entertainment, politics. We love someone poking us in the eye, and coming back for more.
