Please do not that the game doesn't have an "ending" and is more like a lil snack game that the devs chomp sometimes when they have time :) It might be finished one day, or not, I'm still thankful it exists, as it is very soothing !

Just finished April Grove : Your, your axe, the beautiful redundant sound of an ecosystem being obliterated, one chop at a time. Kidding : The woods grow back ! The slowest paced game to play while you're watching something on the side, very soothing, I would honestly recommend as a "fidget toy".

Finished Winion Virus, a visual novel about raising small virtual pets into good adults so they can benefit human society in the future. Maybe. The story is nice but lots of repetition, the translation is a bit wonky at times. If you need your shot of depression and creepypasta setting, go !

Finished Aliya : Timelink. You SOMEHOW end up replacing the life support AI of Aliya's ship, 1000 years in the future. You talk to her via a chat app. That's it. She needs your support, you can learn about her lifestyle in the future, and she responds in real time, just like Bury Me My Love :)

VERY UNSURE what I just went through.
It was pretty, surrealist, oscillating between peak comedy and despair-filled moments, with little to no inbetween. I liked what I saw but I lack the words to describe it.
Ngl I just picked it because it sounds like "penis" in swedish was cheap.

Finished Necrobarista : The staging, characters, musics, story are touching in different ways. I didn't expect to be so moved by it, because I went in blind, but of course a game about life, death, and letting go would destroy me. It's short and sweet, would defo recommend :)

Necrobarista screenshot : The graphics aren't mindblowing on their own, but add some very nice lighting, good music, chill ambience, shake it all, pour it in a glass, the result is sublim. Necrobarista screenshot : Between two chapters, the game lets you roam around the cafe, more rooms become available as you progress through the main story. You can hover through everything you see, and sometimes get extra stories if your cursor meets a highlighted item, they offer some more reasons to love characters you already know.

Finished Paradise Killer. Didn't expect anything out of it and ATE it until its end. I really loved whatever the heck happened there : Investigation, walking sim, vaporwave ass aesthetic, chillest OST, very interesting world building and characters. My end is probably not the end. So I'll go back !

Rune Factory : Guardians of Azuma. Didn't expect MUCH from it because as much as I love RF, I wondered how a spinoff could un-dust the licence's mechanics and oh damn, I loved it ! Farm, build towns, date, fight, and save the world of course ! A fresh addition to a very much loved licence imho !

Farming isn't the main focus anymoire : not only your hero will be helped by divine tools, making their life easier, but you could also use the bird view from the building and do it MUCH quicker. The whole farming is also facilitated by the fact that you won't need to give a damn about which season it is, most crops can grow anywhere anytime. There is also no typhoons to randomly destroy your crops. GOOD. The bond system reminds me a lot of Fire Emblem Three Houses, you have the choice between 4 activities that you can (or should not) go over with your friend/date depending of your bond level. Getting closer to people offer a good lot of nice bonuses : they will be able to join your party so you can fight with them, they will cook along with you and give you a better version of one of the recipes you can learn, they learn new skills etc etc... Ultimately you will, of course, be able to date some of them, marry and have a kid. I personally had difficulty to pick which person I wanted to date because I dislike most of this game's chara design (the graphics are inspired b Genshin but it's HARD to match Genshin's charadesign, and it shows). As you progress through the game you will unlock "dev" areas that you can place building, decorations or crop fields on. You will ultimately be able to house people, and they will work for you, they can tend your crops (I would recommend doing so yourself as it gives a nice amount of daily exp, and if like me you feel TERRIBLE whenever your fields do NOT look like you want them to...), gather wood or rocks that you'll need to build. They will also be able to take care of animals once you unlock a ranch, or fish for you.

Holding Omori's hand on the Top 1 of my favourite video games of all time : Expedition 33. Go blind. The graphics are breathtaking (tho some facial animations are a bit uncanny-valley-ish), the world is so original, the characters lovely to travel with, and THE MUSICS MAN LIKE AAAAAAAAAA

Been waiting this game like the Messiah, it delivered SO MUCH MORE than I expected ? Fantasy Life : The Girl Who Steals Time wears its name well, as time will pass VERY QUICKLY as you play. Gather, Craft, Save the world, Fight ! Very addictive (and repetitive), one of my goty selection !

Here we can see a skeleton-dragon, the hero and the girl who steals time. The plot starts as follow : You're on a boat and about to discover a new island, and as you do, you notice that the town there is completely ruined... Lots of questions arise, but no time to answer them : you are attacked by a badass (but evil) mecha-dragon. Saved by a peculiar time traveller, you see that the town was very lively in its past... So how comes that its future shows its ruins ? A screenshot from Fantasy Life : the Girls who steals time. It shows that the game is playable with friends, which I haven't experimented. Note that if you don't have friends to play along, you will be able to hire NPCs to save the world along with you. As they have different jobs, they will help you by boosting your stats with the said job. If you aren't aware, in Fantasy Life you chose a "Life" aka a carreer. You can be a gatherer, a crafter, a fighter, ideally every one of these options ! Finished The Tartarus Key : Loved the intro, LOVE the graphics, loved the ambience. That's all. Turned out to be a wonky story, raising much more questions than giving answers, NPCs are rather forgettable, I was so sad and disappointed because I was hoping for at least a bit better..

Finished This Bed We Made which ended up randomly in my wishlist and OH I have NO regrets, I expected nothing off of it and got caught into its mystery ! From the toxic hotel management, to the gossip within the coworkers, to the possible dramas with the guests, it has it all ! LOVED it !

Finished Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley! Had my eyes on this one for a while and it was all I expected : A heavily environment friendly message hidden under layers of watercolour-like landscapes and cutscenes. Sweet and short, I will jump on its DLC as soon as I can and finish my Moomin books !

Finished Refind Self: The Personality Test Game, I am REALLY unsure I understood both the story and was really was expected of me. The third ending video RUSHED so I couldn't read any subtitles. The game was short and cute, every one of your action adds a percent to a gauge, the game ends at 100.

Finished Wanderstop, it felt nice, and slow paced. It was the breather I needed after my first week of being-back-to-contributing-to-society. No stress, only tea making, beautiful nature, decorating, planting seeds, and Boro being a huge cutie patootie we all need in life.

Wanderstop's screenshot showing the tea machine. The process is mostly the same every time, pour water, boil it, add XY ingredients, then pour in a cup to serve, either for you, Boro, or a customer. The tea remaining in the boiler after you're done can be simply poured, the machine being on a tree, it grows little flowers whenever when you feet it with your leftovers. Nothing is lost.

Precisions : The two "styluses" were (dark) blue and had the same size. One of them had a red led that would light up, I am very unsure the two of them had it !

Bluesky I need your help especially for French speakers out there ! I had this game as a kiddo, but I can't remember its name and it's making my blood boil, does this ring a bell ? (more info in alt)
Sketch of a game I had as a kiddo, in the bottom part of the game's cardboard, there was a cardboard (again) with lil' metalic dots. There were two stylus thingies, tethered together with a wire, one of the stylus had a little lightbulb on its butt. To play the game, you had to put one of the many sheets on top of this cardboard part. Every sheet had things to link togethers (let's say animals -> their name / countries -> their capital or smth equivalent). The said "things" to link together all had a little hole somewhere so that you could put one of the stylus's tip in it, hold it, and put the tip of the other stylus in the hole of what you thought was the corresponding answer (ex: tip of a stylus next to the sketch representing a cow -> other tip in the name "cow", do not put your tip in any cow!!!). If the two things belonged together, the lightbulb would lighten up to let you know that your answer is good.

I know I should have expected it but pff.
Spineless bizniz Google knows it's hard for its user to find an alternative to their services so they comply with Trump's completely stupid requests and changed "Golfe du Mexique" (Gulf of Mexico) to "Golfe du Mexique (Golfe d'Amérique)" / "Gulf of America" on Maps. If you ever have a request for them, it is preferable that you are orange, a criminal, and an insufferable rich asshole who happens to be a president.
