What I don't get when people say it "doesn't count" is like it doesn't count FOR WHAT!? Like do people really need to call it a "reading and listening" goal for you to be happy? Or will you still be mad? Like why does it matter. It must be like you said because they see it as a competition but why?!

ESPECIALLY the people who don't read any new books either like how do you even know these are your favorite books if you don't read new ones!?

I'm in a writer's group at my local library and it's awesome cause everyone shares so there's give and take. But the genres are so different sometimes I feel like umm this is not the right space for some of my writing 😅

Also, people seem to dump all their emotions onto the volunteers and expect us to be emotional, too. But what they don't understand is that if we reacted to everything, we would be like emotionally unstable from all the stuff we see.

I didn't even do that much of a workout and I can't walk. Omg this is horrible lol I miss when I had a gym membership and went habitually 3 times a week 😭
