Objective: The objective of this rec account is to make fic reading a little bit more accessible and less daunting for people with anxiety. It’s meant to be a respite for when your nervous system needs it. As a person with anxiety, I know that when you’re going through it, and you want something to calm you down/distract you, it’s hard to find a fic that will entertain you without triggering you. Having had that experience, this account was born. How it works: I read bangtan fics (mostly jikook) and some txt ones, and vet them low angst and without any major trauma/heavy topics, they could be well known or lesser known fics in equal measure, the point is to vet fics as safe, not necessarily help people find stuff they haven’t yet read, so you might see fandom favorites here, or various fics from the same author (as this is a personal project, reading what they like/brings them comfort). Disclaimer: Everyone’s nervous system is different, we all respond to different triggers and different levels of angst/stress. This account has a general guideline of little to no angst and no major triggers within the fic (such as explicit violence, distressing scenarios, mental health topics). This acc is not responsible for possible trigger material you may find, so read them at your own risk, even if the fics are vetted, there’s no way to completely guarantee a safe reading experience. So keep this in mind , and always make sure to read the tags please. Important Things to Know: Slow Posting: There’s only one mod of this account as of now, and I rec what I read. As I’m a human and not a reading machine, reccing is a little slow, but I’ll try to keep it as consistent as possible!
