I'm a woman over 40 and on one hand, this makes me feel a little less bad about the solid wall of rejection I've been facing. It turns out I'm not unlovable - it's just that I'm not 20. On the other hand, wow I feel more hopeless than ever.

I have a rule that I only doomscroll until I come across a photo of a cute animal. Then I stop and put down my phone. Thank you Max for saving me from myself ❤️

As a kid, I thought Trek was nerdy and I was embarrassed that my mom liked it. Then I actually watched an episode of TNG when I was about 10 or 11, and I was hooked! It just clicked for me! I devoured the episodes, and I asked Mom for a TNG novel at Waldenbooks every time we went to the mall 🖖

I rewatched Lady in White last year, and it did not age well. 😬 It's set in the 60s, and the racial slurs are probably accurate for the time period, but yikes it made me super uncomfy to hear kids using that language 😬😬
