These books are gonna be reviewed less which means they’ll have less people talking about them and without the word of the mouth which is 90% of book marketing the sales for the authors are going to actually plummet.

Also personally I buy books I’ve already read and loved. That’s why I’d prefer to have a physical version of the book for a potential reread. No piracy doesn’t mean it’ll increase profits for the author. It might actually have the opposite affect

Yeah they’re not gonna get paid by the people who download these novels anyway because most of them don’t have the money or the resources to get access to these books. I personally use libraries but not everyone has those. Without these websites literature is going to slowly die
