Do I have this correct? A South African born naturalized US citizen (that was the US illegally for a period of time) who gained unfathomable wealth mostly on the backs of US taxpayers is now (very illegally) controlling what those same US taxpayers can receive in services from their government?

Just a note on “Vox populi, vox Dei”. The full translation (attributed to Saxon scholar Alcuin in a letter to Charlemagne) is “And those people should not be listened to who keep saying the voice of the people is the voice of God, since the riotousness of the crowd is always close to insanity.” Huh
