And I know why this issue plagues my mind, and the history behind it. It’s just hard rn to move past from this kind of condition.

Ultimately, I still got some more work to do.

Each piece, regardless of quality or size, feels like a promise I’m making to someone or something.

and so whenever a piece doesn’t work out, or I lose interest in the piece, I take that as a personal failing. Its hard to not feel like I failed. And all that, makes me scared to even try.

what I find difficult about the creative process isnt the technical aspect of drawing (I enjoy the problem solving)

but its being willing to invest in myself; to trust that I will actually finish what i started

I struggle with trusting myself and believing that ill actually follow through.
