They’re not idiots. It’s just a bunch of people who, when you boil everything down, are on the same team (that the rest of us aren’t on, to paraphrase George Carlin).

All the “swing” rhetoric is wild to me cause it’s almost always about percents and ignores the fact that Dems just lost tons and tons of voters over unpopular choices (esp. Gaza). That resulted in larger *percentages* voting R but it’s not really a “swing” when the actual numbers don’t go up much.

Feels like some day they’re gonna look back at our lack of clean air (masks, filters, etc.) especially in healthcare situations with the same kind of shock.
