I discovered death blight, did a bit of Volcano Manor invasion, rode this chariot and finally the build came together when I found Golden Vow. Big paladin energy, also Siluria's Spear was a fantastic new weapon #EldenRing

Here's an obligatory "Youtuber posts image of video editor" thing I've been working on for a while.

I had a few avenues to explore. The lift of Dectus brought me to the golden views of Altus. I found Volcano Manor properly. And I explored all of Fia's storyline to encounter Fortissax - check out these awesome lightning spells that I totally didn't die like 5 times at to get these shots #EldenRing

I fought myself, found another one of these giant skele dudes, got the best emote and killed these looming gargoyles. Great stuff! #EldenRing

A new path opens in the most badass way possible and then it's back underground to Nokstella. Gorgeous stuff #EldenRing

After a quick preview of Farum Azula via the belfries, here's a tale of Radahn in 3 images #EldenRing

After more exploration of the underground, I came face to face with the biggest pot. I encountered the lake of rot, which I hoped never to come across again (oh no). I fought a dragonkin boss whilst being watched by... This huge skeleton guy? And came across the lonliest crucible knight. #EldenRing

This section gets it's own post because it was glorious. #EldenRing

Before exploring the Radahn festival, I had to go through Caria Manor.
Loretta thought having a pond in her arena was a good idea for lightning-based intruders.
I met Ranni again.
Did I mention how cool the fantasy architecture is in this game?
And then Siofra river. Dude. #EldenRing

After clearing out all of Caelid, I thought it time to move on. First up though, the scariest cave to meet a runebear in with probably one of the best talismans to find in the game. Revenge on one of the hardest bell bearing hunters. And I farmed for the cleanrot set because it's cool. #EldenRing
December 10, 2025 at 7:06 AM
Caelid doesn't mess around with these gargoyles and this particularly hidden giant golem. These definitely were intended as "come back later" guys.
Castle Redmane and this weird skull thing just out here being cool scenery though #EldenRing

Ekzykes was probably the worst dragon in the game thanks to that lingering rot breath. After that, Commander O'Neil gave me a fancy new banner/spear. And it's really hard to describe the scale of Greyoll, but I'm pretty far away and very high in the air in the last image; it's HUGE!
December 6, 2025 at 8:58 AM
Liurnia is basically gorgeous. But then it was time to visit Caelid, where I found a humungous jar and the infamous Moonveil. I'm not using an int build though, so never mind! #EldenRing

I went back to take Patches' advice and ended up kidnapped.
After escaping that hell hole (it wasn't that bad but the pun is right there), I farmed up some cool armour sets for fun. Love all the knight sets and I swapped between them frequently #EldenRing

Rennala's boss fight went from super creepy intro, to gimmick fight, to absolute badass in the span of a couple of minutes. Loved this a lot #EldenRing

Magic academy, in MY SWORD GAME? ... Hell yeah.
Got myself a temporary cool set of armour too.
Raya Lucaria was great, honestly. Not as massive as Stormveil but equally not as complicated and I appreciated that at the time. That rooftop jump can do one though #EldenRing

Found a way to get revenge on the tutorial grafted, so that was cathartic.
Found Jarburg; land of dancing and silly pots.
And then it was time to do Raya Lucaria proper. #EldenRing

So. Many. Deathbirds. One of the perks of playing a str/faith build though, is being able to throw tons of holy damage at them. Satisfying stuff #EldenRing
November 20, 2025 at 12:24 PM
Anyway, back to it. I tried the banished knight halberd out for a while and ended up not being super keen on it.
Castles and monuments are cool though, very keen on these! #EldenRing

Wildlife break. #EldenRing has some real funny low-poly birds but their bigger siblings are very scary, so don't be mean to them.
November 15, 2025 at 11:37 PM
Liurnia was such a sight after Stormveil, suddenly so much colour!
I'd decided on the flamberge as a main weapon at this point, so I looked up where I'd find that. Of course it was Caelid, so I made a mad run for it.
November 13, 2025 at 8:41 PM
It takes just over a full minute to climb the ladder out of this room without sprinting, quality Snake Eater time if you ask me.
Also here's us bearing witness to Godrick the Grafted, as requested.

Stormveil was a rather confusing place to navigate thanks to all the rooftop sections. The proper dungeons have been the best parts of #EldenRing so far though
