This pro-democracy, anti-authoritarian list is not so bad. Sometimes useful content.

Pin it if it's valuable to you.

That nasty-assed ragweed pollen done smacked me down.
ytregaws.bsky.social
Woke up with the theme from "What's Happening!!" in my head, so that's a pretty good start.
ytregaws.bsky.social
You got a producer credit.

I gotta have that seeded red wheat bread of theirs. Gonna just get it from the Alberta Co-op from now on, though. Can't see paying a forced gratuity for a retail transaction.
ytregaws.bsky.social
Oh, interesting. Thank you.
ytregaws.bsky.social
Oh, I did mean groovy good. But yeah, that grooviness is expensive.

What's the Red Square Cafe like?

Whistling along to "Die Matrosen" by Kleenex is mandatory.

Become a better whistler.

#pdx, go look at the moon low in the eastern sky right now.

The movie was fun. Stuck around for some live karaoke with the band. Left on a high note, after a great version of "Killing in the Name" done by a lady and a gentleman. That three guitar attack of the band was really something. And the drummer was LRSD guy Greg Odell, so you know it was fuckin' hard

I’ve been sort of idly keeping track of all the points in the Declaration of Independence’s bill of particulars that arguably apply to the Trump Admin. This is the first four-in-a-row I’ve hit. www.archives.gov/founding-doc...
For cutting off our Trade with all parts of the world:
For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent:
For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury:
For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offences:

You ain't gonna shit right for a week.

I really must meet you someday soon.

Yeah, he persisted against some formidable odds!

Chip has been working on this one for years. There’s some illuminating footage from Satyricon / Xray Cafe days.

I saw an early cut of this film a few years back.

Chip also did the roller derby doc “Brutal Beauty: Tales of the Rose City Rollers”. I was at that premier too, so neener neener.

At the premier of Chip Mabry’s documentary on Karaoke from Hell. Lots of old Portland buddies and luminaries in attendance at the Mission.

Yeah, gotta do all three parts.

I appreciate the occasional tune.

Trump and the right wing bullshit machine working in high gear to motivate and justify a (potentially violent) federal response to unrest that is largely a figment of their imagination and (where it is real) a reaction to federal agitation. A vicious, intentional, and intensifying cycle.

Trump: Portland is burning to the ground—insurrectionists all over the place. The politicians are afraid for their lives. That’s the only reason they say there’s nothing happening.

Missoula nowadays not nearly as groovy as Belmont St., though Missoula 1981 was about as groovy as Belmont St.

Silver City, NM may be a little groovier than Belmont St.

Grooviness anywhere is expensive as fuck anymore, of course. $12 for a loaf of groovy bread.
ytregaws.bsky.social
Hardly news, but Belmont is the grooviest street in Portland.

Having one of those See's Candies Orange and Chocolate Wafers. So glad those are back again for Halloween season. Been eating those for decades.
