Absolutely adore this beautiful thistle vase by the French artist Eugène Feuillâtre, a famous enameler of the Art Nouveau period who was head of the Renée Lalique workshops & also worked for Tiffany & co. @joaokay.bluesky.social loves this period, knew his work & saw this vase recently.

Deep breath #2: was stressed as not received email with customer number from NatWest to register for online banking & app for credit card move. Phoned today, suggested using website; turns out I could register all along with my credit card details which generated the magic number. 🤦🏼‍♀️

It’s a much better score than expected from Australia, Alana King did very well. Not sure Pakistan have 200+ in them but cricket is a very strange game!

Deep breath: local Post Office can’t locate signed letter redirected as I wasn’t going to be at home. They insist on tracking number; Royal Mail didn’t leave one on the card. It’s stuff from work, which incomprehensibly they said they couldn’t email to my work account or mail to my work address. 😠

Day had a wobbly start; as well as phone nonsense, washed a load of towels on the basis weather forecast said overcast but dry, so of course it was drizzling at 9am. Much improved after excellent online appointment with psychologist, an episode of Moonlighting and quick eye check at the hospital.
