It's shitty, really. And you start to feel uncomfortable around them because you don't want to embarrass yourself or your family. Not all families get to finish college or have a stable job, they are not asking for money for themselves but for their children's needs and future.

You couldn't get to talk to them casually like the usual as the family relation had strained between your parents and the other behalf.

But when you want to ask for help, you couldn't speak at that time. You start to feel hesitant, so you shut your mouth and jsut watch and listen to them talk.

But when you get to meet them again, you start to feel out of place. You only get to talk to them like "How's school?" "What's your grades?" "What did you do this year?" And just like that and then they went to your cousin that is more liked by your other family.

And because of that, there are experiences when you were young, where you start to wonder why your uncles/aunties focused on your other cousins? Why aren't we invited too often besides them? Why aren't they helping you or your family?
