Yes! From frozen, lay them flat on top tray. 400f for about 15 minutes. No need to preheat. Try not to open but do put them out as soon as they are done. Of course try one to make sure it is as crunchy as you like it.

Once you have the timing down for the density of an object you can just apply that elsewhere. I haven’t air fried many things with tater tot density unfortunately BUT it’s just a convection oven that allows you to cook smaller portions. I am a pro at regular French fries though.

I’ve never done tater tots BUT checking then at the 7 minute mark should tell you how much more time they need.

Lotta times you want high heat with the fries laid out flatly. Around 15 minutes works for my air fryer. I have the one with trays so I leave them as is. If you have the bucket then around 7 minutes take it out and shake shake the fries and make sure they are flat again when putting them back in.
