Turns out disabling Gmail’s smart stuff also killed the smart search in Google Photos, so now I can’t quickly sort through my cat pics anymore. Which is basically the only reason I would use it, or a camera.

I still did some of my usual work yesterday, but I was wrecked today. I woke up close to 9, and after lunch I got this horrible headache I also haven’t had in a long time.

About my tendency to want to go ultra productive and beat myself up if I’m not drawing every waking hour… I keep forgetting I still have to cook, clean, and take care of my body too. 24 hours in a day is a myth. (Though well, there *are* still things I can improve…)

On the bad news side, a Japanese manga award recently gave its top prize to a work people are heavily accusing of being AI generated. Editors said the art was what convinced them, and now manga fans are roasting them for having no eyes and praising weird, lifeless drawings.
