I sometimes think about an implication of THE ONE - that as people age and die there will always be a last one of a person in some universe.
Imagine how weird it would be to have an ancient elder suddenly gain immense power.

Being inherently lazy, I would come up with a story about wanting to reduce my power consumption at Christmas, so I combined a festive appearance with an unadorned appearance to remind us of the joy of nature.
