What I really want from a video game is an underlying framework that might change at any point, be completely different, and then gaslight me about it. Sounds fun.

Oh that sounds really cool! I am solo dev in my free time and goal for next year is to learn Godot! Always looking for cool tools and also looking forward to seeing how your project turns out it looks really cool!

Worth noting you can create a WordPress.com site with email subscribers and unlimited posts for FREE. Its not perfect but there are better options than Substack which locks you in.

Important to note that Kevin Roose is the interviewer and was saying this sarcastically in the interview as a criticism of the Roblox CEOs earlier comment.

I think a lot of that interview showed really problematic responses from Roblox, but it's important to portray things accurately.

I got a PlayDate for christmas in 2019! Now you may be thinking "how tho?" It was a picture of a PlayDate and cash, and I stashed it away until the day pre-orders were available.

No regrets. Great gift! Highly recommend.

Harper Collins is owned by News Corp, which is Rupert Murdoch's company. We should hardly be surprised.

I didn't say "Things are fine" not sure why you think you need to explain what is happening to me.

It is an objective fact that things can get worse. Again, lots of historical precedent for that.

If you think that THIS is as bad as it will get then all I can say is that I hope your right.
September 30, 2025 at 3:16 PM
Is your intention just to make me angry? I don't understand this? Why are you wasting your time hurling random insults, what is your end game?

If you just want to start insult contests your better off on Twitter.
September 30, 2025 at 3:13 PM
I didn't come into your space, you commented on my response?

If you can't defend your point of view, Im not really sure what to say here.

Believing that things are already worse case scenario for anyone yet is a failure of imagination.

Lots of historical precedent. I do not mean worse for me.

I think the person who reposted this and said "WORSE FOR WHO?" is a bot given that replies are turned off.

The answer is obviously "Worse for almost everyone."

There is a lot of historical precedent for how much worse things can get.

That or we live in a dark age because after collapse we will lose all digital records leaving only the printed records.
September 30, 2025 at 6:40 AM
This is a dumb thesis and easily disproven. We are nowhere near worst-case and honestly I have mostly been surprised that it hasn't been worse.
