This time around, getting a dog left my parents facing their own mortality as at the ages of 70 and 66 there is a chance the dog outlives them. If that happens, both my brothers have shown interest in taking Frankie in. Hopefully that's something we don't have to deal with anytime soon. #CPChatNow

I believe so. Lulu died January 1st. They brought Frankie home November 1st. The time in-between represent the only months they did not have a dog since 1983. That's when they got their first dog, Coco. Thankfully Coco did well with us once my older brother came around in 1984. #CPChatNow

Now that I'm a decade in on doing races and I have done some races five, six, or more times I view myself as my competition. It's also unfair because my competition is younger me but I enjoy the challenge of keeping up with aging. #CPChatNow

I quickly learned this once I started doing 5ks. I realized comparing myself to others on the course was unfair to me because they do not face the same challenges as me. Instead, I just need to focus on my own performance. #CPChatNow

In high school and college I recall thinking to myself that I would rather have too much to do and not enough time to do it instead of all the time in the world and nothing to do. These days I realize you could always find something to do. #CPChatNow

I was curious because the library I work at has a sound studio and other maker spaces which require an orientation before use. The orientations are not super in-depth though. More a general introduction of the equipment available. #CPChatNow

You might want to check the sound settings. Microphones might be set to not pick up background noises. A podcast I listen to had that issue once and obviously the hosts talked about the situation during the show. #CPChatNow
