During Family Church with the boys, this floored me: People don’t always make room for Jesus, just like there was no room for Mary 🤰 & Joseph 🐴 at the inn 🏨. It got me asking, “How am I like those innkeepers who shrugged and missed the chance to be part of a history-changing moment?”

Today, as I read Luke 1:18-22—Zechariah’s encounter with the angel & learning about what God was about to do—I was blown away. My guy Zech(ariah) stood before an angel & doubted. I’d probably do the same. But what’s beautiful is that Zech’s doubt didn’t change God’s plan or purpose. #advent

Every day, I’m confronted with a choice: to focus on my little c castle—small, fragile, and broken—or to focus on Jesus’ capital K Kingdom—eternal, unshakable, and enduring through everything thrown at it.
I choose Him and His beautiful, Upside-Down Kingdom, where love, grace, and truth always win.
