I’m very excited to share our latest work, published today un JACS. Together with some amazing scientists, we explore a new method for metal doping in perovskite nanocrystals, resulting in the ability to make very small and tunable NCs on the benchtop! #ChemSky ⚗️🧪 pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/...
Metal Doping of Strongly Confined Halide Perovskite Nanocrystals under Ambient Conditions
Halide perovskite nanocrystals are promising materials for optoelectronic applications. Metal doping provides an avenue to boost their performance further, e.g., by enhancing light emission, or to pro...

Beyond discussing the potential types of materials in this class, we also go into depth on the relationship between chirality and spin, interesting chiral light-matter interaction, and also discuss how to characterize these phenomena. Very useful in my (biased) view!

#Gpg indeed! The only tough thing about being over here is not being able to see the primetime games unless I want to get up at 2:30 AM to watch them 😂

Hi all!

I’m Zach, I am currently a Chemistry postdoc at the Rowland Institute at Harvard. I work with semiconductor nanocrystals and perovskite materials. I liked posting pictures of my luminescent materials (glowy things) on the bird app, but 🤷🏻‍♂️
