there is no way to configure settings on the npm web site for a package that doesn’t exist 🫠

not a huge deal because brand new packages aren’t popular 🤷

the only wrinkle might be that you have to publish one version on a new package before you can enable OIDC 😅

I think if you’re doing solo projects it’s absolutely fine to keep using 2FA publish locally. Maybe even preferable! I think OIDC is only needed for publishes that happen via CI

yeah, dependency mapping. Though after @jordan.har.band pointed me to nodejs.org/api/module.h... I may not need the svelte lib after all
