If I remember Cary St correctly, nobody really asked anything politely. It was more like dudes making blanket statements and then (sometimes violently) defending their theses. I probably said ‘Springsteen is the man and if you don’t like it eat a dick’ and you weirdly took umbrage with that. 😀

😀. Never having had one, the ‘boss’ thing doesn’t have any negative connotations with me. Might as well call him ‘the dude’.
I feel like we’ve had this same discussion about Mr.Springsteen 30 some years ago, when I tried to get yall to listen to The River (or maybe Nebraska) in its entirety.

C’mon man, his 1970’s output alone was enough to put him in the pantheon of greats. The fact that he hasn’t had a heel turn in the last 40 years since then is just icing on the cake.

I’d like to report a hate crime.
Just imagining the poor guy in the Dong Phuong kitchen, looking at the order come up, flinching, realizing he has bills to pay and doesn’t have to actually eat it, shrugging his shoulders and making this travesty. I’d like to recommend him for a raise.
