I’ve been feeling deflated by all of the AI stuff. I think this whole era is revealing that a lot of people just want the output, they don’t care about the process, and they’re willing to jettison quality in exchange for quantity. It’s dispiriting.

And finally, the open beta app on my Xbox just says failed to connect, assuming due to the number of players. Wasted like 30 minutes of my life.

using my Xbox account, but that failed. So I created an account using just my email address. That was successful, but the entire web app is now in German (and no, I am not using a VPN). I found where to change the language to English, and I click the “submit” button and it just disappears.
