Its still OOC regardless, what you said would just be straight up character assassination, like just because it wasn't the most abysmal dogshit scene in Metroid (it probably still is though cuz Metroid has great cutscenes) doesn't mean its suddenly not bad or shouldn't get the scorn it does

Even then you'd think shed be more frustrated he won't die rather than having a panic attack, cuz she even treats Kraid in Dread like "oh god its this guy again 🤦‍♀️" it was really cool and made sense

Ok but like... why, she just fought him in Super Metroid the previous game without any implied fear, even if its not a deathblow to Samus's character its still just really stupid

Because one of the things many Sonic fans forget is that while Sonic is a morally good character he is pretty much solely motivated by what HE thinks is right, its what made Black Knight Sonic so cool, Sonic wouldn't be persuaded to stop fighting and listen if the stakes are high enough
