I see a lot of concerns being dismissed as "another hysteria." As someone who lived through some past hysterias, I think people today might be surprised how many of them are dismissable today because someone took them seriously back then. You get the future you refused to prevent.

Uncertainty is what they wanted, and it is our greatest weapon. Be certain about yourself and nothing else. If you are certain about something, you have volunteered to be a weapon they can use.

I haven't posted here, yet. Not sure what to make of the culture here. The other place is blamed for misinformation and cruelty, but here, I see people whose job is science saying making statements in very unscientific ways and getting positivity. That... doesn't seem like an improvement to me.
