Literally not possible. USCIS says its 2 weeks from interview to asylum answer so even if you quadruple that there is no way no part of the process was done under Trump if he applied in December and was granted asylum in april.

He was granted asylum on April 23. Once he applied in december an appointment needed to be made. That takes care of finger print/background checks. But after that is an interview, usually 2 weeks after that you get an answer. So his interview had to be in March\April.

He was granted asylum on April 23. Once he applied in december an appointment needed to be made. That takes care of finger print/background checks. But after that is an interview, usually 2 weeks after that you get an answer. So his interview had to be in March\April.

Folks, this is the asylum process straight from USCIS. When you apply for asylum you get vetted. Doesnt matter if you were vetted for something else, you get vetted.

Folks, this is the asylum process straight from USCIS. When you apply for asylum you get vetted. Doesnt matter if you were vetted for something else, you get vetted.

This and the last sentence of 3288 which you partially quoted earlier which is basically that you cannot refile an indictment if the problem was no indictment was filed or a reason that would bar prosecution. I would hope that an illegal appt would satisfy both parts.
