Again, nobody here is arguing otherwise. I did vote for Harris despite the flaws in her campaign for that reason.

Mate it isn’t as simple as bigotry made Harris lose. Obama won in a landslide during 2008/12 and Mamdani, a Muslim man in NEW YORK, ALSO won in that same landslide. If you want to look at data to determine why Harris lost, you also need to understand why those two won.

I don’t mean to be that guy, but Hollywood is doing pretty okay right now. Yeah having more diverse casts would be better and I would also love to see that, but you literally can’t prove that they would have made more money. Like I can point to all of Spike Lee as a counter example.

Do you somehow not know how campaigns work? Of course Harris had to fight an uphill battle because of her race and her gender, but she also sold out her voter base and went all in on fracking and and border control. Not exactly a good campaign platform for a left wing candidate.
