This reminds me of how the graphics for Yoshi's Island on the SNES were hand-drawn, scanned, and redone pixel by pixel into sprites, as a response to the way rendered CGI graphics were becoming more and more normalized in games. And the results were beautiful and still stand out decades later.

One of my favorite novels AND graphic novels is The Last Unicorn, the graphic novel is gorgeous. And I've always thought that Lost Honey stands right beside it in terms of art and story. So your ;3 makes me excited and hopeful for the future!! 🦄💖

Read this as "got into my fist-CURSED pottery market" and saw the awesome blood-red-coated-interior and spiked exterior cups and was like, Yep, that checks, hardcore metal af. Then I reread it and was like, Yep, still checks, still hardcore metal af. 😂👍

While I love the hourly comics I've come across this year, yours in particular delight me because of the centaurification (and the Starbucks split-tailed mermaid, so clever!) adding extra whimsy to an otherwise ordinary day. (Also it reminds me of Lost Honey. Hope that comes back someday!)

Omg I'm so flattered! 😭💖 I'm not in a position to offer commissions right now and I'm still practicing knitting, but I can certainly type up the pattern and send that to you, if you'd like! It's a simple pattern but I need to test it after typing up to make sure it doesn't have mistakes.

I desperately needed a Loomy of my own! So I made a little knit-and-crochet one. Thinking my Loomy needs a tail though, maybe I'll make it yellow like the ears...
