Because they keep voting for that despite claiming to want something else.

You can boo AND vote.

I loved my pebble time.

So glad they're bringing them back. I use a OnePlus watch now, but if I were in the market the 30 day battery life would sway me to get the time 2. I always found the pebble did all I needed from a smart watch.

Yeah that kind of divisive politics.

He'll be sorry for "any perceived" lack of compassion or ignorance on his part. AKA how bloody dare you see me for what I am and call me on it.

For better or worse they don't air that stuff publicly. "Don't complain, and never explain" is the firm's policy.

Idea being that the news cycle moves on & most of the time anything you can say will make things worse. However it's inflexible & doesn't account for the times they should speak out.

So switch 2 Emulator by the end of the year?

I mean it's something you can work with & compromise on. Okay we're all for sustainable communities but we can only go so far, so fast, etc...

I feel like greens are at least open to negotiation if it gets them somewhere.

We also know from their record Lib Dems can work in coalition with others.

If we're championing absolute privacy shut down these company practices, issue everyone with a randomly generated ID number that holds no details on them but grants them access to public services and provide everyone with a personal encrypted data stick holding relevant history like medical records
September 28, 2025 at 4:41 PM
Then there's the matter of Meta and other private companies holding far more personal data. In fact Meta has been found to build a profile on people who haven't even signed up to their services. Some companies now tie reduced prices in store to having a loyalty card with them.
September 28, 2025 at 4:36 PM
If I have a passport (oh another ID tied to my personal details). The truth of the matter is the government already has my info but is inefficient by using multiple systems to manage it. You can still silo the data to specific departments even if one ID unifies my ability to access them.
September 28, 2025 at 4:34 PM
We already need to hand over our private data to deal with government departments. The council knows my details already for me to vote and pay council tax. DVLA already knows for me to have a driver's license (oh an ID card tied to my personal info how dare), NHS to access my medical records.
September 28, 2025 at 4:31 PM
If you want to be constructive help the government explore options that maximise privacy. Then oppose it if they do not hold to that standard.

To be opposed to it before any real detail has been explored is closed minded.
September 28, 2025 at 4:28 PM
This is just reactionary fear mongering. It's the same as reform are about immigration. We have little to no detail on the substance of what these ID's will entail yet people are popping off like someone shat in their cereal.

Parents are always terrified of some bullshit. Might as well direct that fear at something real.

No. I don't have smart glasses and I'm not buying a pair just for that.

Fired from the news for speaking truth. An indication that such an outlet isn't trustworthy.

I misinterpreted it is Pokémon. So they're safe.
September 12, 2025 at 4:53 PM
So when has Nintendo got the trial scheduled for?
September 12, 2025 at 4:52 PM
That's not what the funding raised was for. That money was for general education. This is a social need above that specifically targeting neurodivergent pupils.

Well he did challenge people to prove him wrong. This was the ultimate proof and it was so definitive he couldn't argue back.

Damn that's dark, but it's what came to mind.
