Marisa, I’m working on a proof of concept along these lines. The Indy Ski Pass has been good for independent ski areas. I believe that model can be adapted to independent journalism. Ghost and Beehiiv both offer good starting points for integrations. Id love to get your opinion on some ideas.

2nd what @viss.mastodon.social.ap.brid.gy suggested with making a copy and then working on the copy. After that, I’ve had good luck with TestDisk and PhotoRec before. Setup can be a bit involved but the guides are pretty good.

Why are we arguing about who sent messages at what times instead of leading with the fact that NWS no longer had a “warning coordination meteorologist” because of Trump and Musk cuts. The person whose job it would be to provide context and coordinate with local agencies doesn’t work at NWS anymore.
