I normally have wet sand consistency as the mixture stir vigorously until melted and then don’t touch also have seen corn syrup used if you’re getting crystals or add an acid like lemon juice and wet sides of pan with water to make sure crystals don’t grow

With Ford I think he did fine as a replacement for General Ross however because a lot of character moments are offscreen his change doesn’t feel authentic but I blame rewrites as with Torres I think people are tired of the sidekick schtick but he at least had energy in boring movie
