As all the album of the year lists come out and to show my finger is firmly on the pulse my favourite album of the year was released in 1992. It actually angers me that I lived 33 years without knowing of its existence. Utterly beautiful. Utterly sad.

In 1992 I was living in London, alone and very unhappy. Not sure how I missed this album about being alone in London and very unhappy but I did and now @needlemythology.bsky.social have re-released it and I know it’s my album of the year even though it’s more than 30 years old.
