My elderly mother mastered signal to demand I tell her what I was doing to help back in September. If I don’t check in every few hours, I know she thinks something terrible.

So sorry this is also happening there. So glad that some of our losses taught us all how to do better. And i hope that continues as this moves from city to city.

So much resistance groundwork has been done in and around Chicago for months. It’s sad to see that left out of this, given the blueprint created and modified in real time as we learned here between July and November.

It goes so well with pork or beef or turkey. It’s a nice thing to have with bitter greens like kale or chard.
