Today's work achievement: I correctly middle-named the governor in a discussion with my boss. I did not actually know Tim Walz's middle name but guessed James. I was RIGHT.

Also: the Edmund Fitzgerald shall forevermore be known as the Eddy Fitz in my office.

Today's bright spot: as MN.gov employee, I could HYPOTHETICALLY send Gov. Walz and Lt. Gov. Flanagan cat memes and hot dish recipes on Teams. I will not do that, but just the idea that I *could* has definitely been a highlight of my year to date.

More bread. Overhydrated the dough but it seems to have resulted in a softer crust which is good.

BEHOLD! Gluten-free bread! My house is a balmy 63° right now (after the oven has been on for two hours) so I did the proofing in the microwave with the light on. It gets pretty warm in there. I don't have high hopes for a decent crumb but I'm willing to be surprised. @kingarthurbaking.bsky.social

I am slightly bewildered that a viral BlueSky post is currently causing me a HUGE headache at my current job. I did not want to go statute diving for healthcare regulations today, AND YET.
