I'd like to adopt an older dog, the ones that get overlooked.
It broke me when my childhood dog died, I was 14. Our border collie, she never needed a lead, she hearded us when we were little. Like Nana in Peter pan. My Grandda was a dog whisperer. Took every dog in street for walks. They listened.

*he's a lovely kind person. He doesn't do well out of his comfort zone. If I can get him to, he finds he likes it. I think a dog would be good for him. He had to take medical retirement (brain tumour), and I work a lot. I think it would be good for him and I'd love it.

Can you shout at my husband, I've been pestering him for 15 out of 18 years for us to adopt a dog and a cat too. I grew up with dogs and cats, he didn't.
