Difficulty is just as important as the music or the art and world design. I think Sekiro is a great example of this conundrum. As a piece of art its intense difficulty makes sense... as a product though, it fails to be accessible on so many levels.

I think the struggle in this conversation comes from people being unable to divide separate between gaming as art and gaming as consumer product. I think about this a lot with the difficulty conversation surrounding Fromsoft's output. From an artistic perspective-
