Humans will never accept caring profession jobs being totally replaced by computers. I work for a telehealth helpline. There’s not much that our counsellors tell people that they couldn’t already find themselves online, but they’re looking for human connection. AI *can* be used for record keeping.

I find the Aussies least affected by lockdowns were also the biggest whiners about it — spent years locked down in Melbourne and most people were just resigned to it, the second I landed in the Gold Coast after people would not shut up abt it. The only time I’ve heard someone say Dictator Dan irl.
