Lowkey surprised they never released a cheap standalone Squid Beatz game incorporating the 3 games’ soundtracks. Could’ve had amiibo support to add secret tracks and change the aesthetics like the Pearl and Marina amiibo in S2.

I feel like they might do 40-50 minutes of regular stuff and then potentially end the direct off with a Mario 40th segment including the movie trailer and a few small announcements? Maybe that’s why it’s so long? Otherwise it’s just that there’s still a lot to announce for Switch 2 lol

Not complaining that it’s a partner showcase btw I’m just really confused at their decision-making process lol

So sad they ditched this concept as the series went on!! Made Arbok so unique, they could’ve kept it going with regional patterns at least

Was looking forward to it but can’t fork out €80 for it unfortunately! The additional €10 for the physical version sucks and I don’t really have enough storage space on my Switch 2 rn (waiting for a 1TB MicroSD express to be more widely available)

Safe to say the Shiny Charm is literally a game changer. Before this my only random shinies had been Flittle, Drifloon and Rellor, all in the first few months of playing but not much since then outside of shiny-boosted outbreaks, etc.

Since they’re dead-set on the track intermissions being a major part of the online, I hope they add a classic mode with no intermissions at all and only 12 racers (also tweak the item rates a bit cuz wtf 😭)… would make it so much better imo
