but I do want to spend more time with classics this year I kind of zoned in on nonfiction but for 2026 I want a more even spread

i hate new year resolutions that gameify hobbies like "i want to read 20 more books than last year!" because it puts me in a crunch mentality and I'm less deliberate with what book I spend my time with it just kind of becomes something short and sweet that makes a number go up
