Source: Own more than a few of both and have installed Proffieboards into most of my sabers collection :) (and installed and provide service for a few of my friends sabers lol)

2/2 Xeno is a little more user friendly (has a phone app), can do set effects (standard saber, unstable, rainbow, fire, etc), and is generally a little cheaper.
If it's your first neopixel saber I'd say go Xeno, but if you're looking to dig in further, and want to mess around a bit more, Proffie :)

1/2 Proffie is more advanced, has a lot more play functions, and can do more advanced effects and customization. Cons are that the learning curve can be a bit steep though admittedly a lot of it is just copypasting code and uploading it via Arduino.
