I think there’s been an effort from so many sides to catch him and say “ha! it was all inauthentic” when that doesn’t seem to be case. Because someone turning up their personality sometimes and then turning it down is normal. Tyler does it all the time, for example.

I remember when I first moved here and a cab driver scammed me. My friend came over and said that my Midwest nature of trusting people is the worst way to be here. You have to assume everyone is trying to get one over you.

Same but it felt like people understood that sharing the data was just a good thing on its own. And now the gambling and prediction markets are eating up everything.
