She/her. Arknights is fun. Viva yuri. Yaoi's cute.
I hope this doesn't spawn 1234 "lore" videos about the dark side of metroid prime or whatever.

Design docs are not there to exist and look pretty, they are there to be the foundation of a project.

If you genAI that... you're building your whole foundation on something nobody decided on with intent.

That is actually far worse than using it for random assets.

Wow. Genuine wow. My fingers are troubled getting models five times the size to have nice, clear details like that.

They should be introduced to German *chocolate pizza* in response.

The colors on minis especially is egregious - GW has always encouraged your own color schemes. This is not painting by numbers. One has to be completely new to the hobby to even think that to be a valid complaint about a paintjob.

It's absolutely revealing. Female desire is still being demonized. Women aren't supposed to *do* that, in the eyes of the patriarchs.

Aaah, sorry. It was worth a shot, but I understand why it may also not be the best in retrospect.

Really good soundtrack, that's for sure!

Good. Thank you kindly for this. Our industry has a lot of problems, and this is a good sign.

How about Outer Wilds, if the non-gamer isn't too put off by 3D movement? It's quite magical in a lot of ways, and also very approachable for much of it (there IS some control of a spaceship, but its okay if you don't quite get it right - I myself often crashed into things hihi)

Reddit is Lockeposting, Yuffieposting is too girly for the average subreddit.
December 20, 2025 at 11:06 AM
This implies a third kind of posting, yuffieposting, which is exclusively posting stolen posts, images, and memes.

I didn't know that and I've played about 200 hours of that game. I didn't even notice there *were* different ways they could be hinged.

Mind, 3/4 of that was modded (Ars Nouveau is the best), but still.

It seems the WSJ is trying to find a new group to demonize based on outright lies every week.

Apparently working for the WSJ requires one to have not a shred of integrity left, only hatred for those management deems lesser humans, and a willingness to lie.

Several eurojank RPGs famously had chickens able to do the same thing because of that exact reason, haha.

Even the description is hard to read. What is that "When "sentence even doing, other than flailing about?

Or the older version of that, 1994's Earth 2!
December 17, 2025 at 9:00 AM
It does not tend to do that at all, actually, even if sniveling corporate apologists are paid to pretend otherwise.

Btw: using "lynching" as a descriptor for "criticism of a company" makes one a disgusting person. A company getting mild criticism is not murder.

....That's worse. Why does he keep digging.

But then this is Larian "we string you along for 6+ month and maybe still not hire you lol".

Given that the site actively pushes ads for various gambling trash, is maybe the result of the system not the intent?

Is this stupidity or greed? This is google, after all.

Games have eternal birthday boy syndrome sometimes, it feels like, because the audience wants them to be capital-S significant. But many are not. Most can't be. This feeling of inadequacy and overcompensating for it in the audience needs to be interrogated on occasion, too.
December 14, 2025 at 8:32 PM
If a medium is to be taken seriously, that also means one has to take claims of its merits seriously. That means interrogating & comparing them, see how good they actually are.

Said about a movie, such a line would not even be unusual. So why not ask such about games?
December 14, 2025 at 8:29 PM
"Papers please", as a videogame name, used to be a reference to an extremely on the nose authoritarian aspect.
December 13, 2025 at 6:40 PM
Really great piece of writing, especially the bit about that ludocentric discussion.
