The fact they're flaunting that the US is taking the oil, coupled with the fact that oil's value is on a steady decline tells me that this isn't simply about oil extraction.
If the US thinks maximizing production is lucrative, their understanding of econ isn't even at a high school level.

Miller is one of those people who thinks they know what neoliberalism is, and uses it to try to sound smarter. What he seems to loathe is social liberalism.

I feel like it's a euphemism for words people would rather not accurately define. Propaganda, opinion pieces, thought injections, manufacturing consent, etc.

Oil prices are dropping, so the US decides to go to war when it's only $50/barrel? (It was $120 less than 4 years ago.)
My theory is this is what they'd like us to think, whereas I wonder if they don't want to oil itself. They want control over an OPEC country to manipulate oil prices themselves.
